Forget.

Cold is my hands, gripping tightly in my pockets. Stiff are my legs standing at the corner of the street? Wandering is my mind; I'm looking straight ahead, but thinking elsewhere.  Beating of my heart, but it's beating ever so slowly. I hear a scream. My mind is still wandering, but trying to get back to reality. I got my eyes fixated on a girl in the middle of the road, and then I see a body in front of her. The body's not moving, lying so still.  It's a guy, he's dead… The girls lost it. She's screaming, crying, out of control. My hands reaching to get my phone, but then it stop. The girl, she's got her head turned towards me. "It's… It's all my fault…." She turns to the body and pulls out a gun. I tried moving to her to stop her, but I couldn't move. "Don't come near me…" She whispered, but loud enough for me to hear.  I stood there. She put her gun in her mouth, whispering softly to herself, and then she's lying on the floor next to him. The police and ambulance finally came. They went to the scene to find both of them dead. Pieces of flesh were all over the ground. Blood covered most of the area over there. There was so much blood. I looked down, only to realize some of her blood was on me as well. One of the police officer walked towards me, asking me what happened. I looked up to him, wide eyed. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. He looked at me, nodded, and walked to someone else around for some information on the accident. I stood there for quite some time. Seconds turn to minutes, and minutes turn to hours. I soon realize that my jaw was hanging. I closed it and immediately walked away, as if nothing had happen. It is better, to just forget everything. Forget it all. I walked home, head facing down. Unlock my door, walk in, set my bag down, went in my room, sat there, quietly. "Just forget…" I tell myself. "Just forget everything." I repeated. My eyes started going dreary, and I drift off to sleep.
